Blue Lake Cruises’ m/s Katrilli cruises the home waters of the Saimaa ringed seal in Savonlinna, Enonkoski, Heinävesi, and Rantasalmi. Seal cruises, scenic and route cruises, as well as various theme and event cruises, are part of our summer offerings.

m/s Katrilli offers indoor and outdoor deck spaces to ensure comfortable relaxation during the journey. During the cruise, you can purchase refreshments and small savory and sweet snacks from the ship’s kiosks. The ship is registered for 70 passengers.

During the summer time, our beautiful rooms can sleep up to 30 people. In addition, we have 10 spaces for mobile homes and 10 tent pitches.

Around the year, you can stay comfortable with your family or friends in the lovely cottage right next to beautiful view our the fields.

You can also take part in our day trips and explore the surroundings of the farmhouse and our petting zoo with its play area and learn about local history.

You can find us on the beautiful island of Vaahersalo, next to the national landscapes of Punkaharju (3 km from the scenic Ridge Road). We are located 8 km from the centre of Punkaharju and 30 km from the centre of Savonlinna.

ENJOY ACTIVITIES ON LAKE SAIMAA, ALL YEAR ROUND

Punkaharju is a year-round travel destination, where nature offers activities and experiences.

In winter, from the Harjun Portti Travel Center’s shore, you can access one of Finland’s longest ice skating trails, stretching up to 16 km, where you can stop for waffles at a café or grill sausages at a campfire spot. The cottage village also connects to a partially illuminated cross-country skiing network over 30 km long, and you can go snowshoeing on the opposite ridge area at the Snowshoe Park.

In summer, Punkaharju is at its most beautiful, and our equipment rental offers electric bikes, kayaks, SUP boards, and motorboats. Explore the fish-rich Puruvesi and Pihlajavesi lakes. Nearby, you will also find swimming beaches, cycling routes, and frisbee golf courses.

Punkaharju Paviljonki is a fabulous restaurant in the middle of the beautiful scenery of Punkaharju and next to Lake Saimaa. From two sides of the restaurant there is a clear view directly over the bright Saimaa. If it’s rainy and chilly, you can sit comfortably in front of the fireplace. Outside there is a covered terrace with approximately 130 comfortable seats, and right next to the water there are about 200 uncovered seats. There are also performers and karaoke nights at the restaurant. The dining room has conference facilities with modern technology and a breathtaking view over the lake. You can also rent a sauna and relax.
